Fishing Net Rubbish
These old fishing nets had been dumped on the pavement next to a public rubbish bin on Kingsgate Bay Rd. They may have arisen from someone tidying up the beach or from a boat owner. The steps leading down to Kingsgate Bay beach and the beach itself can be seen on the right of the picture.

These beach Chalets are not on the beach they are on top of the cliffs at the top of the steps up from the beach. They are available for hire at £940 for the season from April to September or by the week at £97 per week during the high season.

That nearest to the camera is called "Little Holland House", that with nine windows is called "Holland Cottage", that with twelve windows visible is called "Holland House" and the property beyond is called "Holland End". In the distance, on the right, is the Captain Digby public house.
