Tudor Cottage, Trinity Square
Left hand side of the front of Tudor Cottage, Trinity Square, Reading Street, Broadstairs. This part of the cottage is hidden, so not fully appreciated from anyone standing from the Reading Street end of Trinity Square. Note the way the brickwork to the right hand side of the old door has been smoothed away, possibly by horses in olden times rubbing against the brickwork?

Wonderful historic Gothic cottage situated in the Reading Street Conservation Area. Now covered up, is an old well in the garden. Was once inhabited by a flint napper who sadly was thought to have committed suicide on Joss Bay.

Trinity Square, Reading Street, Broadstairs
Some of the smallest houses I have ever seen nestle around this historic square. Reputedly built with timber from wrecked ships, some have smugglers hideaways connected to their cellars.

Tudor Cottage, Trinity Square, Reading Street, Broadstairs
Tudor Cottage is at the top of Trinity Square Broadstairs. Its exact age is not known, but it is thought to be one of the oldest cottages in Reading Street. It was possibly built as a forge as there were originally three fireplaces in the area between the two windows at the front of the house! If anyone has any historical information about this property please let the photographer know.
