How Green Cottages
Pair of cottages in How Lane. A pair of cottages are shown here on the 1913 1:2,500 map along with a couple more to the south which had already appeared on the 1896 1:2,500 map, the whole group being named How Green Cottages. However they were all a casualty of a stick of bombs which exploded nearby, and were replaced by these two cottages and Yew Tree Close (see Image).

Yew Tree Close
Cul-de-sac off How Lane built after the Second World War, after How Green Cottages, situated where it now meets How Lane and dating from the late 19th Century, were destroyed by a stick of bombs which exploded nearby.
