Caterham: very long flight of steps
If you continue walking down the footpath shown in Image, you soon come to a long flight of steps which extend all the way down from Church Hill to the valley at Harestone Valley Road. Tedious if you are going up - luckily I came down! Not all the steps by any means appear in this picture.

Caterham: Footpath leading off Church Hill
Footpaths always have a special attraction for me, and this one leads pleasantly downwards as an alternative to the busy Church Hill.
