Brewing Copper
A steam heated and coal fired boiling copper previously used at the Tidings Hill Brewery, started in 1885 by G.E.Cook & Sons Ltd. This 700 gallon vessel continued working into the mid 1970s, it was donated by the company to Halstead in Bloom 2003

Former watermill
The weather-boarded Townsford Mill building originally dates from 1740. In 1826 Courtaulds began silk weaving here. Now it is an antiques centre and restaurant.
