Entrance to a new development at Great Horkesley
Once the site of a range of glasshouses now the information pack says -"Comprising of 18 private dwellings and 4 affordable dwellings." Presumably the 18 are un-affordable or perhaps are affordable if you don't need to ask the price.

All Saints church, Great Horkesley, Essex
Most of this church is of the perpendicular period though there is evidence of Norman work. The tower is 13th century. Oddly, the battlements are built from Roman bricks. The church stands some distance north of the main village area.
