Ginkgo leaves
A small but particularly nice specimen of a ginkgo or maidenhair tree [Ginkgo biloba] in a garden in Kirby-le-Soken. Apparently identical fossils 200 million years old are known.

High Street, Thorpe-le-Soken
Modern developments have the double bow-fronted Mill House, parts of which date from the 17C, serving as an excellent B&B, while the house this side of Mill Lane is a Balti and Bangladeshi restaurant.
