Inside Witton Wood Spinney
Witton Wood Spinney is owned by Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk/ and serves mainly to stop the station car park from expanding. It covers just about half an acre. Officially this is a closed reserve not open to the public but from the evidence I saw this rule is honoured in the breach.

It is not often you can encompass virtually the whole of a nature reserve in one photo, however Witton Wood Spinney is an exception. It is owned by Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk/ and serves mainly to stop the station car park from expanding. It covers just about half an acre.
