Norman arch, Little Totham church
Inside the 19th century porch on the south side of All Saints, Little Totham is this fabulous late Norman arch dating from about 1160.
The north doorway out of the nave boasts the oldest church door in England - dated to 1075 (possibly even older).

All Saints church, Little Totham, Essex
This church is mainly Norman with a very interesting late Norman south doorway. In the early 16th century the west tower was added, which started off as being built of square flints but then it stopped and, instead, it was topped off by the timber structure we see today. Perhaps the church ran out of money!
