The Blue Boar Hotel, Maldon, Essex
Peering through what was once the arched coach entrance to the ancient hotel, gives a view of this quaint cobbled courtyard. It is situated off Silver Street, directly opposite the unique triangular tower of All Saints Church.

Silver Street, Maldon
An old street, with all visible buildings grade II listed except for the grade I church, part of which, a newer part, is the brickwork on the near right. Beyond the church, across the side turning, is the former Bell Inn, now a house. Houses are 11 and 13 on the left, 2, 4 and 6 on the right.

Blue Boar yard and timber framed range
This is from the courtyard looking towards the coaching archway and Silver Street. This part of the hotel dates from the later part of the 14th Century. In the background you can see the top of the 13th Century All Saints church tower.
