All Saints' church, Cressing
The nave was probably built in C12, the chancel C13 and the bell turret around 1400. The church was extended and restored in C19.

The church can be traced back to Norman roots, with additions and renovations undertaken through succeeding centuries. The Essex Way runs past this church. Not the most exciting long distance footpath, but it does visit many fascinating religious building along the 81 mile course.
