Braintree Station
The K6 telephone box adds a colourful touch to this view of Braintree's station, nowadays the end of a branch line from Witham - although trains run through to Liverpool Street. Passenger services west to Bishop's Stortford ceased in the 1950s.

Braintree railway station
Opened in 1848 by the Great Eastern Railway on what is now the terminus of the branch from Witham, but until 1952 (for passengers) continued to Bishop's Stortford. View west towards buffer stops.
