Public footpath Great Dunmow 12 and drive to Merks Hall

The footpath is on the road, keep all dogs on a lead.' The bit about the path being on the road was put to the test when a car came along. Either it would have to follow me at my amble or I would have to move to the verge. I chose the verge, with no repercussions.
