The Boote House, Felsted
The carving above the ground floor reads "George Boote made this house 1596". George might be surprised to find his house is still there - even more to discover it is now a Chinese restaurant!

Felsted: Holy Cross Church: Canopied tomb of Richard, 1st Baron Rich of Leez
The statue represents him in his role of Lord Chancellor with the robes, round cap and ornaments associated with the position; he is holding a book of prayer. A panel, never inscribed is situated above the statue and above that the coat of arms supported by reindeer with the motto "Keep thy Faith" as translated from the French.
