On the right, one of several GOML notices encountered using the public routes around the hall. 'Please keep to the footpath All dogs must be kept on leads'. There is no public footpath to the right, as the sign position might suggest, but there is one to the left, Great Dunmow 11, a short link not on older maps to bridleway Great Dunmow 81.
