So named on the large-scale OS map; the denomination is not given but by elimination I think it is the United Reformed Church.

Engine house, Bolford Street, Thaxted
"... a simple single storey brick building with slate roof, partly obscured by ivy. Probably dates from early 20th century. Housed an old fire engine built in the reign of William IV that served as Thaxted’s Fire Engine until the 1930s. The engine is now at the Windmill. Distinctive red entrance doors with
