Clearing trees near College Square
Looking at current aerial photos there are buildings in this area now but in 1971 there was a large cinder car park next to College Square. I can't remember it ever being used much - maybe it wasn't open to the public.

Harlow Technical College, College Square

The building on the right is part of St Paul's church (on the left in this shot http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2804759 ) and all the other buildings in view are part of the College and have now gone.
