Harlow: Barrows Farm Stadium
This is the new home of Harlow Town Football Club, capable of holding attendances of up to 4,000, with 400 seated and 500 standing under cover. The club, known as the Hawks, played their first senior game at the stadium on 18 October 2006 beating Ware 2-0 in a Ryman Football League Division One North fixture. The Club's website is here http://www.harlowtownfc.co.uk/home.html Meanwhile, 9 years and 6 months after they were evicted from the Goldstone Ground when former chairman Bill Archer and former chief executive David Bellotti sold the site for retail development, with no alternative site for home games in Sussex arranged, Brighton & Hove Albion now struggle on at the totally unsuitable athletics stadium at Withdean Image, while Lewes District Council and Norman Baker M.P. put every available and conceivable obstacle in the path of blocking planning approval for a new Community Stadium, that the Albion would use, at Falmer, but within the boundary of Brighton and Hove Council.
