Station Road sharply turns into Priory Avenue, Harlow
Station Road was formerly the main road from London to Bishop's Stortford and Cambridge, and went straight on here. New Town development changed the road layout and priorities considerably.

Harlow Mill railway station, Esses
Opened in 1841 as "Harlow" by the Northern & Eastern Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway on what is now the line from London Liverpool Street to Cambridge. The name was changed to "Harlow Mill" in 1960 to differentiate it from Image View north east towards Sawbridgeworth and Cambridge.
