The entrance to St John the Baptist Church, Epping
This looks down St John's Road, past the entrance to St John the Baptist Church. There is no medieval church in Epping and this church was built as late as 1889, although the tower was not erected until 1909. The weatherboard cottages opposite date from about 1820.

The architects responsible for this church were Bodley & Garner. The tower was built in 1908-9 and the rest of the church was built in 1889.
