Chelmsford: fragile bicycle
I had wondered if this bicycle wrapped in "Fragile" tape was a statement by a cycling-safety activist. Having seen this picture online, the artist Chris Scott wrote to explain that it is his work and part of an "Art Bomb" in the streets of Chelmsford, highlighting homelessness and the fragility of the human condition. Chris's website is at www.chrisscottartist.com/ . In the background are part of Shire Hall and the corners of New Street and Waterloo Lane.
