Buckley Junction Station
View southward, towards Wrexham; ex-Great Central (Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay section), Bidston/Chester (Northgate) - Wrexham (Central) line, junction of the original line from Connah's Quay. The station was called 'Buckley Junction' until 5/74, although passenger trains ceased to run to Connah's Quay about 1895. It remains open on the present surprisingly popular Bidston - Wrexham line.
