James and Thomas flower tubs on platform 1, Buckley Station
Located here. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6311515 James and Thomas (the Tank Engine) are fictional anthropomorphised steam locomotives in The Railway Series books by the Reverend Wilbert Awdry and his son Christopher published from 1945 onwards.

Reminder of Buckley Junction on platform 1, Buckley station
The red and white BUCKLEY JUNCTION name is on the wall of a station building. This station on the Borderlands Line was Buckley Junction until May 1974 when it was renamed Buckley.

Buckley Junction Station
View southward, towards Wrexham; ex-Great Central (Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay section), Bidston/Chester (Northgate) - Wrexham (Central) line, junction of the original line from Connah's Quay. The station was called 'Buckley Junction' until 5/74, although passenger trains ceased to run to Connah's Quay about 1895. It remains open on the present surprisingly popular Bidston - Wrexham line.

Buckley railway station and bus stop
Viewed across Station Road about 300 metres south of the A549 junction. The station is at the eastern edge of Buckley, about 2km from the town centre. An hourly shuttle bus to the town centre operates from the stop on the left on five days a week, but not today, a Saturday.
