Stone artifact at Meadow Place, Mold
The one way passage along Meadow Place from New Street in Mold is made even narrower by this stone artifact. We had something similar made of iron to clean boots before entering the house.

The Old Mold Brewery development site
The Old Mold Brewery company operated on the corner of New Street and Meadow Place, Mold. The brewery is marked on the 1872 Town Plan and in 1898 it was taken over by the West Cheshire Brewery Company Limited. The Mold company ceased brewing in 1927 and in 2009 the site was being redeveloped into apartments. During construction work the very narrow lane, Meadow Place, was closed to traffic. See also

Capel Bethesda, Yr Wyddgrug
Bethesda Welsh Calvinistic Methodist chapel was established in 1794. It was rebuilt/modified in 1863/4 to the design of a London architect, and again in 1875 to the design of Richard Owen of Liverpool. There were further renovations in 1905. The chapel is built in the Classical style, gable entry type. The chapel had two notable members, the novellist Daniel Owen (who based much of his work on events there), and Professor Ellis Edwards, Bala.
