Enamelled plaque on Castle Road railway bridge
There are four such plaques, one on each corner of Castle Road railway bridge, and it is not possible to read any of them. All the plaques are heavily rusted and this one is the best of the four, on the north west corner of the bridge, and it still shows a few letters. I have photographed it because it won't get any better, and it must have been important enough for there to be four of them on the bridge. For the similar one on the north east corner see Image

North east corner of Castle Road railway bridge

The yellow arrow indicates the presence of a rivet bench mark Image Higher up on the brickwork there is a heavily rusted enamel plaque, which is repeated on all four corners of the bridge. Unfortunately they are all so badly rusted it is not possible to read what they once said. For a close up of the plaque on the north west corner opposite see Image
