This is a Grade I listed building. The architectural historian Raymond Richards considers it to be the finest old parish church in Wirral. Cast iron post by the B5136, in parish of BEBINGTON (WIRRAL District), Church Road; between Lynton Drive and Foxcovers Road, on path, back to wall, on West side of road. Cast iron CCC1896, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
