Footpath by the River Dee
Having negotiated the drainage ditch seen at Image, and the necessary diversion through the industrial buildings, the footpath along the River Dee returns to the bank to continue to Queensferry, which is behind the camera.

Ruined Jetty by the River Dee
Very little is left of this jetty, which would have been used to load small boats before the river silted up. A Cormorant is sitting on the right hand post, but he didn't stay long.

The River Dee near Sandycroft
The River Dee is seen here at low tide, as it flows towards Queensferry. The wooden skeleton on the left bank is one of several ruinous jetties, from a bygone age, that can still be seen along the river bank.
