Gates near Belgrave
At the grandiose Belgrave Approach to Eaton Hall, the gates and piers topped with "talbot dogs rampant" are by John Douglas, 1889, for the 1st Duke of Westminster. Grade II listed.
The avenue beyond, C17th in origin, runs for almost two miles to the house. It was later extended even further west (behind the camera), but what remains is much bittier having been broken up by roads.
