Bandstand, Vale Park
This pleasant little park is just off the promenade halfway between Seacombe and New Brighton. It has some lovely floral displays, a nice tearoom and this bandstand which is used regularly and is very popular on warm sunny days.

Driftwood fairy village mythical beast
In February 2015, using a tree stump and driftwood left over from creating the Black Pearl (the driftwood pirate ship on New Brighton promenade), Major Mace and his wife Sue started the project in Vale Park which has now escalated to become Driftwood fairy village, a popular attraction for children.
