"A strikingly monumental building for so unmonumental a town. Characteristically, it faces nothing more than a couple of ends of terraces and a jolly Gothic pub". By Briggs. Wallasey Town Hall was designed by Briggs, Wolstenholme and Thornley and built between 1914-1920 in limestone with Welsh slate roofs. The town hall is a Grade II listed building.
