Stile into farmland at Hockenhull Platts
This stile is at the end of the surfaced road from Mon. To the east (right) is a small area of woodland. The steps of the stile have now been removed (2016), presumably because the concessionary Conservation Path it served expired in 2014, according to a notice I found nearby.

Cattle grazing for reserve management
Hockenhull Platts nature reserve. I walked this path just a week ago and the cattle (Dexters?) were wandering about in head-high reeds. If clearing reeds was the aim, it certainly works.

The westernmost of the three packhorse bridges ("Roman Bridges")
Pevsner claims that this bridge has been widened; however, only the approaches are wide, and it is not clear why anyone should have needed to widen this bridge, but the reason for the shape of the north side is not clear.
