The parapet of Egg Bridge, Waverton
Egg Bridge at Waverton is bridge #119 over the Shropshire Union Canal. The larger plaque records that the original bridge was built in 1770, and this one was built in 1937. The road above is called Eggbridge Lane. See also: Image

Egg Bridge, Waverton
Egg Bridge carries Eggbridge Lane over the Shropshire Union Canal, and this version of the bridge was built in 1937. There is a convenient car park here and I presume the ducks find it worthwhile to stay fairly close by.
