Dixon?s Almshouses, Christleton
The attractive grade II* listed Dixon’s Almshouses in Christleton, built in 1867-8 to provide homes for poor and needy people of the parish. The elegant timber-framed buildings were commissioned by Mary Anne Dixon of Littleton Old Hall in memory of her son James and designed by John Oldrid Scott, younger son of the famous architect Sir George Gilbert Scott.

Old Milepost by Little Heath Road, Christleton
Cast iron post by the UC road, in parish of Christleton (Chester District), Little Heath Road, by the road. Cast iron CCC1898, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
