Skate Park at the Cop Park
Cop Park is situated at the bend of the river Dee on the western fringes of Chester. It is so called after the "cop" - the raised bank which protected the land from flooding by the river.

The river Dee near Cop Park
Bend in the river Dee north of the old dock area. This section of the Dee was canalised in the 1730's so that boats could navigate from Chester to the sea.
