Gorse Stacks Car Park, Chester (25/08/15) - awaiting development
Gorse Stacks car park in Chester is due to close at the end of August 2015 to enable work to begin on the city's new bus interchange. The first phase will also see the demolition of the historic pub Ship Victory, (the white building in the background). Penri Memorial Chapel, Gorse Stacks
The foundation stones and the inscription over the door of the Penri Memorial Chapel are dated 1893 and I believe it was opened in 1894. It was sold to the Welsh Baptists in 1898.

The Penri Memorial Chapel was built in Gorse Stacks in 1893. Above the clear carved stone inscription are the words: Addoldy y Bedyddwyr - Place of Worship of the Baptists. See also Image
