Stanley Street and Linenhall Stables
An early morning view along Stanley Street before the cars arrive. On the right is the entrance to the Linenhall Stables, which used to house the racehorses during Chester race meetings. New stables have now been built adjacent to the racecourse. Stanley Place, with its Georgian buildings, is to the left.

Bench mark in brick
This bench mark seems to me to be unusual in that it is carved into brick rather than stone. (Note: By 2009 I have discovered several other cut marks in brickwork). It is on the corner of City Walls Road and 14 Stanley Place.
