Goldsmith House and Register Office
This side of Goldsmith House faces on to Goss Street. The steps in the centre of the building lead up to the Register Office and civil ceremonies regularly take place there. The significance of the name of the building is that the Chester Assay Office used to be located in Goss Street but the office closed in 1961.
