Disused platform at Cardiff Queen Street railway station
Partly covered by weeds, the former platform is at the western edge of the station, next to platform 1. There is the possibility that the platform could be reopened in the future, to reduce bottlenecks in Valley Line services. These can occur, for example, when a delay to one train causes delays to other trains stopping at Queen Street, which is the second busiest railway station in Wales. Cardiff Central is the busiest.
