South side of Hephzibah Baptist Church, Bedwas
Erected between 1840 and 1844, this was the first Baptist church built in Bedwas. The year 1844 is inscribed in stone above the doorway. Various enlargements and alterations have been made, such as a new baptistry in 1911.
