Railway station name sign, Llwyn-on Street, Caerphilly
The area behind the camera was transformed during 2013. Previously there was only a path from Llwyn-on Street to a railway underpass to Lewis Drive. A new railway station, Energlyn & Churchill Park, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3822804 has been built on the site. It was officially opened in December 2013.

Birthplace of Tommy Cooper, Caerphilly
On the left, a plaque between doorway and window records that this house, 19 Llwyn-on Street in the Energlyn district of Caerphilly, was the birthplace of comedian Tommy Cooper http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2342640 in March 1922. Some other sources state that he was born in March 1921.
