Speed bumps and an abandoned trolley, Lewis Drive, Caerphilly
On the grass behind the bumps is an upturned supermarket trolley, its wheels pointing skywards.
It probably belongs to the nearby Asda. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3817092 A railway perimeter fence is in the background.

Energlyn & Churchill Park railway station, Caerphilly
Located on the Rhymney Line between Aber station and Llanbradach station, this station opened in December 2013. On my visit here today in January 2014, I had assumed that trains would stop here every 15 minutes, as at adjacent stations. I was surprised (and annoyed!) when the train that I was expecting to board for Rhymney passed through the station without stopping. I then did what I ought to have done on arriving - look at the timetable. Only 2 trains an hour stop here (meaning that another 2 don't). What was curious was the timing - trains at hh.25 and hh.40 stop here, but those at hh.10 and hh.55 do not. So if you miss the train at 1.40pm, as I did, there is a 45 minute wait for the next one.
Why are trains not scheduled for every 30 minutes?
