The Bedwas Road side of the gym at 20 Castle Street. The name embossed on the building is Caerphilly Workmen's Hall & Institute which was officially opened on February 7th 1925, Grade II listed in 1995.

Big Cheese in Caerphilly
The depiction of an outsize Caerphilly Cheese is on the corner of Castle Street and Bedwas Road. A nearby information board records the population in and around Cardiff and Caerphilly soared from under 2,000 in the early 1800s to nearly 33,000 by 1861 creating an increased demand for the local cheese. It is likely that in the early 1820s the regional cheese sold in the markets of Caerphilly was branded with the town's name. The Welsh version Caerffili was commercialised as a brand name in the 1830s.

Three Castle Street shops, Caerphilly
On the left is Tony's Tackle, a Daiwa Master Dealer. Daiwa is a Japanese
