Curiously, the church nameboard (and various online references) show Windsor Road as part of the church's name, but this is Windsor Street. The local AZ street atlas confirms that there is no Windsor Road in Caerphilly.

Obelisk, central Caerphilly
Viewed across Cardiff Road, with Caerphilly Castle in the background.
The spike-like obelisk is 13 metres (about 42 feet) high, in two distinct parts. Its base is honed yorkstone, a type of sandstone, (sedimentary rock). The upper half is a perforated stainless steel plate on a structural frame. Internal lights turn the obelisk into a beacon at night.
