Double Stone Stile
The photo is of the south side of the stile. The single footpath northbound splits in to three on the other side of the stile but there is no dividing hedge. There are a few other double stiles in the area.

Coffin stile near Cowbridge
Confusion can arise with the Cornish 'coffen' stile. It may be that the two are different though it is recorded that the Cornish type is so named because of its construction rather than functioning as a place for weary pall bearers to rest their, oft times, heavy loads.

St Brynach's Church, Llanfrynach near Cowbridge
A 12th century church that, other than restoration of the tower, remains largely as it was when it served the village of Penllyn. Still it has no gas, electricity or water.

St Brynach's Church and churchyard, Llanfrynach
C12th origin. For centuries it was the parish church of Penlline, though over a mile from the centre of the village. The burial ground is still in use.
