Cogan Coronation Club, Penarth
The club and institute is located on the northern corner of Pill Street and Hewell Street, opposite The Cogan. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2184923 It is the headquarters of Cogan Coronation AFC (Association Football Club). Founded in 1960, the club play their home matches at the nearby Cogan Recreation Ground.

Cogan's first post office
This private residence on the corner of Pill Street and Windsor Road, opposite The Station pub http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2184877 was probably the first post office in Cogan. A semicircular inscription http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2185231 near ground level on the left shows Post Office 1881. A few tens of metres away, along Pill Street, the successor Cogan post office closed down in April 2008.
