Premier Inn, Barry
Viewed across Ffordd y Mileniwm. The hotel is located in the Triangle Site, on the corner of Hood Road. Officially opened in the autumn of 2012, this was the first hotel to be built in Barry in more than 30 years.

Viewed across Ffordd y Mileniwm. Officially opened in the autumn of 2012, the hotel http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3761316 and restaurant occupy a two-acre site overlooking Barry's No.1 Dock. Whitbread developed the scheme in partnership with the Welsh Government and Vale of Glamorgan Council.

Innovation Quarter, Barry Waterfront
The derelict building on the right housed the hydraulic pump that worked the dock machinery. To the left is the new Innovation Quarter which houses small business units to promote economic activity in this area of industrial decline.
