Grade I Listed St Tathan Church, St Athan
Church in Wales Church in the Diocese of Llandaff. Cadw records that the church is probably of late 12th century origin, though there is little evidence of this externally since the features are all 14th century or 15th century or of the late 19th century restoration (1888). The building was Grade I Listed as a fine medieval church which has exceptional medieval monuments in the south transept. The village name is St Athan in English, Sain Tathan in Welsh.
