Freightliner class 66 locomotive No. 66599 lifts the 11:13 Aberthaw Power Station to Tower Colliery empties away from the reception sidings at Aberthaw and is approaching Font-y-Gary.

Aberthaw Lime Kiln Tramway
The dog is running on the trackbed of the tramway that collected pebbles from the beach for turning into lime cement. The lime kilns are in the distance with the Aberthaw Power Station chimney beyond. The area between the cliff and the sea is an SSSI.
