Ham Lane South, Llantwit Major
Suburban housing in the southern part of the town, which now has a direct rail connection to Cardiff. The sign to a nearby caravan and camping site hints that the Vale of Glamorgan is also an attractive coastal area.

The Hoddnant flowing through woodland.
This is the only point on its journey to the sea that the river flows through woodland. It is also where it is at its most turbulent as it tumbles over rock. Sharing the location is a caravan park containing both residential homes and a touring caravan site.
