Entrance to Bonvilston Reading Room
Viewed across the A48. One source states that the Mackintosh family gave the reading room to Bonvilston district for the use of boys. Girls could use it only for dancing, concerts and parties. The educational facilities were strictly kept for boys. The reading room is now used as the village hall. Among its users is Glamorgan Wildlife Photographic Club, for club nights and workshops.
