Bronze statue on a pedestal in Aberdare Park, Aberdare
Located in the SE corner of the park, near this http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3966898 entrance. Dated 1912 and signed
by Thomas Brock RA, sculptor of London, the statue was unveiled in January 1913.
Depicted is bearded Sir William T. Lewis (Lord Merthyr) holding an unrolled parchment.

Gadlys Chapel Flats, Aberdare
Located on Railway Street, Trecynon, Aberdare. Opened in 1864 as Gadlys Welsh Baptist Chapel.
The chapel closed in the 1970s. Grade II listed status was awarded in 1989. The building was converted to residential flats in 1994.
